Wild Black Cherry this is the wood that built this company. It is our top seller by far. The finish is attained by ammonia fuming and a hand rubbed oil/varnish which brings out the beautiful grain patterns from quarter sawn to flat sawn lumber. The darkening of aged cherry just makes this tool more beautiful everyday. Please allow 3 to 5 days for delivery.

 Osage orange or bodark,if you are looking for a gauge you can spot across the shop then this gauge is for you. This wood is very dense and hold a very nice polish. It tends to turn a dark brown if left in sun light . Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.

 Figured, or curley hard maple makes a beautiful and durable tool. We use only the very best, and figured stock for these gauges. A hand rubbed oil/varnish finish is used to bring out the figure and for protection. Availble in 4 and 6" versions. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.

 Cocobolo is a rosewood found primarily in Central America. This wood comes in many colors from red to purple to orange,often with black streaks and mild to wild grain patterns. Availble in 4 and 6" versions. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.
